Hey there!
My name is Marcus. I am a final-year Business Studies student at Ngee Ann Polytechnic with a strong interest in the field of law and criminal justice. I am also a self-taught multi-disciplinary creative. My experience in the creative industry spans nearly five years, currently freelancing in the field of creative media and digital marketing, with a wide range of specializations including web design, social media, and more.
Please feel free to view my portfolio for your kind perusal and explore some of my works here.
In 2020, I also founded TRDEMRK Digital, a Creative Digital Agency based in Singapore, with hopes of lifting the freelance creative industry while giving back to the creative community. During our first two years of operation, we won several awards ranging from Brand Excellence Awards to Successful Enterprise Awards.
In the same year, I was scouted by award-winning designers to represent Singapore and the Asia Pacific region (APAC) in the UI/UX + Graphic team at LOUD, an International Creative Digital Agency. I was also recruited into the core founding team and am the sole designer based in Singapore on the team.
I am also representing Ngee Ann Polytechnic (NP) on the Ministry of Communications and Information's REACH Advisory Panel (formally known as the REACH Supervisory Panel) where I provide advice on ways to support REACH in achieving its goals, engaging many facets of Singapore society. Besides that, I also offer insights on local and on-the-ground sentiments of the various sectors, and aiding in the creation, assessment, and execution of REACH engagement initiatives.
Overall, despite the little hiccups in this journey along the way, I am extremely grateful for the trust that has been placed on me. It may be said that I am not only fascinated by the little joys in my life, but above all, every little part and parcel and at the same time, the meaning of the experience that comes our way is what's most important.
And I would like to thank you for reading this short little introduction about me thus far.
